How will Beanpole help Will and Henry on their journey to the White Mountains?

Beanpole is an extremely unusual character in the story. He has glasses on. He speaks French and also learned English by himself. He knew more about France since he was from there. He would know more about the White Mountains than Henry and Will did. Beanpole was very smart. He was an incredible inventor. He invented a glasses for himself so that he can look, and see better. He also found out that there were less dense in the hot air than the cold. I believe Beanpole would help Henry and Will on their journey tremendously well. Beanpole could speak French and communicate with people who lives around where he lives. He also knew more about the places and lands in France. He knew where Tripods were.

First reason why I think Beanpole is important is because he could speak English and French at the same time. He could communicate with Will and Henry at the same time, while communicating with the local people. When Will and Henry gets in trouble from the French people again, Beanpole might convince them from getting in trouble. It was obviously very curious to see a two tall foreigner who were not capped. Beanpole would be the only one who could save Henry and Will from trouble in France.

Another reason why I think Beanpole is important is because he knew more about the places and roadways to the White Mountains. He knew where the Tripods were located and where local valley was placed. He knew the safe roadway to the White Mountains. " They were traveling much faster than a horse gallops." (Pg 60) This article proves that the Tripods could track Henry and Wil easily than they think. Beanpole knew where the Tripods were and this was lucky. For example, when Beanpole knew more about where Tripods were commonly placed, they might find an easier way so that they can travel without getting caught. Without Beanpole, Will and Henry would get caught very easily.
